This quilt was made in 1999 for Alice, the daughter of a close friend, and measures about 36" by 20". Individually sewn puffs of fabric are stuffed with cotton wadding and then placed in position. They are then sewn together in strips and edged with a quilted border. This technique is also known as biscuit quilting.
